The Centre supported Sadeh Graham when she needed advocacy help during her studies at University. She recently earned a first-class degree.
She also received the Be Inspired Youth Award for her work helping to raise funds for charities and for her perseverance to cope with her illness. Sadeh Graham was referred by NHS Birmingham for support and through the care and dedicated staff who assisted her throughout her studies ensure that the University understood her conditions and enable her to complete her studies. Sadeh Graham was presented an award at the Annual Jamaican National Gala and Local Hero Awards November 7th held at Aston Villa FC and attended by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Deputy Jamaica High Commissioner and other dignitaries. Sadeh is a service user of Wolverhampton Sickle Cell Centre, referred to the Centre by NHS Sickle Cell Centre, Soho Road.
