The Sickle Cell Care Centre is committed to raising awareness of Sickle Cell and Thalasaemia in all communities and offering a quality service to those who suffer from Sickle Cell Syndrome, their families, care givers, extended families and community.

The vision for the Sickle Cell Care Centre is a holistic and social model of community care and engagement.

Empowering and enhancing the quality of life of those who suffer from Sickle Cell Syndrome, their families and carers. The centre will make resources available to it's members and the local community thus maximizing the members support networks.

Increasing awareness and understanding of the Syndrome and in turn improving members confidence and increasing their opportunities to enjoy a better quality of life.

We know that Sickle Cell Patient's recovery rates and resistance to subsequent illnesses greatly improves as they receive select care in a positive, well informed and equipped environment, designed for their needs.
