Who are we?
Wolverhampton Sickle Cell Care & Social Activity Centre (WSCCSAC) was born out of the experiences of its founder, Claudette Mitchell, over 40 years ago. As a mother and wife caring for two children affected by Sickle Cell Anaemia she struggled to locate the social care support she needed. As a result, Claudette established WSCCSAC to help and support all local people suffering from the disease.
